Terms and Conditions of Sale
- Introduction
These terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter referred to as “T&Cs”) apply to any order of any products placed by a customer (hereinafter referred to as “the Customer”) on the website www.eamonnbates.com (hereinafter referred to as “the Seller”). Digital products include, but are not limited to, subscriptions to digital services, etc. By placing an order, the Customer unconditionally accepts these T&Cs.

- Purpose
These T&Cs define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the online sale of digital products offered by the Seller to the Customer.
- Order
4.1. Order Process
The Customer places an order directly on the Seller’s website by following the indicated process. The order becomes final once the payment is fully completed.
4.2. Order Confirmation
The Seller confirms receipt of the order by sending a confirmation email to the address provided by the Customer. This email contains a link to download the digital product or the necessary information to access it.
- Prices
The prices of digital products are indicated in euros, excluding all taxes. The Seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but digital products will be billed based on the rates in effect at the time of the order’s validation by the Customer.
- Payment
Payment is due immediately upon ordering. The Customer can pay for the order using the payment methods indicated on the site (credit card, bank transfert, etc.). Transactions are secured by an online payment system compliant with current regulations.
- Delivery
7.1. Delivery Time
Digital products are available immediately after payment confirmation, unless otherwise specified during the order.
7.2. Delivery Methods
Digital products are delivered by download or online access via a link sent to the email address provided by the Customer.
- Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the Customer does not have the right of withdrawal for digital products once the download or access to content has begun with their prior express consent.
- Intellectual Property
All digital products sold by the Seller are protected by intellectual property rights. The Customer agrees to respect these rights. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or exploitation of digital products is strictly prohibited.
Our products are copyrighted. It is not legal for use outside of your organisation’s premises at the address specified. It is not legal to pass it on in any way to a third party. It is not legal to forward, in any way, the e-contacts EP product file outside of your organisation. It is not legal to electronically process or in any way electronically re-package the information for re-sale. Use is restricted to one single computer per user. It is not legal to install the product on more computers, workstations, terminals, or other digital electronic or analogue devices than the total number of licenses agreed in writing with Eamonn Bates Europe. It is not legal to use the product over a network, except insofar as the appropriate number of multiple licenses have been purchased from Eamonn Bates Europe.
- Liability
The Seller disclaims all liability for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the purchased digital products. However, the Seller commits to providing products that are compliant and free from defects.
- Personal Data
The Seller collects and processes the Customer’s personal data in compliance with applicable regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information, please consult our privacy policy.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, Belgian law. The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of Brussels shall (subject to the paragraph below) have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with these Terms or the legal relationship established by them, and for those purposes irrevocably submit all disputes to the jurisdiction of the Brussels courts. For the exclusive benefit of Eamonn Bates Europe, Eamonn Bates Europe shall retain the right to bring proceedings as to the substance of the matter in the courts of the country of your residence or, where these Terms are entered into in the course of your trade or profession, the country of your principal place of business.
- Final Provisions
If one or more provisions of these T&Cs are deemed invalid or declared as such in application of a law, regulation, or following a final decision by a competent court, the other provisions will retain their full force and scope.
